The Podcast Thread - Podcasts listed by genre - Sebastian - 2011-10-20 Anybody happened to save 上別大陸+P? It was a great podcast, with great contents, a very good voice and exact transcripts, and it dissapeared from the intertubes. =( The Podcast Thread - Podcasts listed by genre - buonaparte - 2011-10-20 Sebastian Wrote:Anybody happened to save 上別大陸+P?http://jounetsu.cocolog-nifty.com/plusp/ 情熱大陸+P It disappeared, too. The Podcast Thread - Podcasts listed by genre - usis35 - 2011-11-14 This is a podcast about English classes. The classes are in Japanese, but there is some English that help to make it really easy to follow. I would say the level is low intermediate. http://itunes.apple.com/podcast/id446751469 http://www.tbsradio.jp/eiken/index.html The Podcast Thread - Podcasts listed by genre - Surreal - 2011-12-14 This is a great podcast I think: http://www2.jfn.co.jp/owj/index.php (use the link in the upper right if you want to subscribe using iTunes) The content is very varied and mostly of high quality. Experts and journalists from different fields(economy, health, music, etc.) are invited to talk about what they think is important. The main goal is to introduce issues to listeners and get them interested and thinking where the world/Japan is headed, and to keep meaningful societal debates going. Sometimes the episodes are like interviews, sometimes more like lectures and sometimes more like discussions with no clear interviewer/interviewee roletaking. The level differs, but I would say most of the episodes are quite difficult. The interview episodes are somewhat easier than others. The Podcast Thread - Podcasts listed by genre - Hinode - 2012-01-05 A small correction for the list on the first page Nuriko Wrote:- 「スターウオッチングエクスプレス」 - “Star-Watching Express”I think this should read "astronomy" not "astrology", they're talking about observation of the planets etc. not about horoscopes. And a recommendation for a great podcast: ゲーム脳ばと http://www.misikika.com/gamenou/ As is already apparent from the name, it's mostly three friends (in their twenties) talking about games. It's fun to listen to them and the content is great. Considering that they're... well, just three friends talking, they are really easy to listen to and they speak clearly (something that should help especially lower intermediates). The sound quality is very good as well, with the exception of a couple of episodes. Sometimes they also talk about new movies or manga or something completely unrelated, but that's fun in its own right.
The Podcast Thread - Podcasts listed by genre - TheVinster - 2012-01-15 Thanks Hinode I've been wanting to listen to a podcast about games in Japanese. Listened to about 5 minutes and it's easier to focus on this than on podcasts of other topics, at least for me. The Podcast Thread - Podcasts listed by genre - TheVinster - 2012-01-24 Actually I just realized that that is the final episode of the Game Nao podcast. Any other recommendations for other game-related podcasts? The Podcast Thread - Podcasts listed by genre - Hinode - 2012-02-03 My recommendation... listen back to the last 3 years of the podcast.

I've been looking for a good Japanese anime podcast for a while now. The Podcast Thread - Podcasts listed by genre - Nuriko - 2012-05-07 I got a request from a forum member for episodes of the Docomo She Saw Mail podcast (it's a promotional drama series by the Japanese cell phone service Docomo and includes pieces of staged phone conversations - lots of opportunities to learn every-day Japanese). So, I am also sharing them with the rest of the community. There are 17 episodes, each around 20 minutes or so. Each zipped folder is around 75 to 85MB. Enjoy! One episode from season 4, three from season 8: http://www.mediafire.com/?tp8ttjwj2alkytf Four episodes from season 5 - http://www.mediafire.com/?c2n50ocxc5j42r0 Five episodes from season 6 - http://www.mediafire.com/?2d9sa4e1l9ozhua Four episodes from season 7 - http://www.mediafire.com/?4t36yvn0k6ry0uu Aside from the above 17 files, I also have.... Individual files (these have been edited by me - stuff that's often repeated like the commercials and jingles were taken out): http://www.mediafire.com/?vunnsikfvxndj Also, remember that I have many of the older episodes of Tokyo Local with Manabe and Kakki - 80 of them, actually. Email me via this site me for the dropbox invite! I always welcome emails regarding this so please feel free! The Podcast Thread - Podcasts listed by genre - Tori-kun - 2012-05-08 Recently I'm listening to SUNTORY SATURDAY WAITING BAR AVANTI PODCAST. It's pretty nice concerning its atmosphere, so you might want to check it out ![]() I guess the 'level' is pretty high as they talk about a variety of topics in there. The Podcast Thread - Podcasts listed by genre - Yoxtuparai - 2012-10-21 Found a podcast in Osaka-ben. its old, but I find it easy to follow along with her speaking at natural speed. Thing is, there seems to be transcripts floating around, and being 3+ years old, are hard to find. Not by any chance someone here has them? link to the podcasts http://www.podbean.com/podcast-detail?pid=18323 The Podcast Thread - Podcasts listed by genre - buonaparte - 2012-10-21 As far as I remember, I have the transcripts somewhere.
