To be honest, you would probably be better off typing out the sentences than doing it like that. I don't know any Japanese ocr that has great accuracy, so you will probably be making lots of corrections. It would probably be just as easy if not faster to type it.

yeah seems that way, got flashgot to download the audio sentences into mp3's which is good

You could always do it piecemeal using capture2text: http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?pid=130006#pid130006

Here's the results of going to that example page, hitting win+q to OCR and dragging the blue box over the Japanese text before hitting win+q again to automatically copy to clipboard, then hitting two hotkey combinations to paste into a text file (using cb4960's background typing tool ;p). Took mere seconds. (Not saying it's error free, but it's pretty good.) I tried it again and the errors below came out properly, I think it had to do with the blue box scanning bits of the furigana till I made sure the bottom aligned with the main text.

はじめまして。リサてす。アメリカから番ました。

はじめまして。チェンてす。実雲から番ました。

パクてす。馨璽から宋まレた。よろしくお願いします。

ハサンてす。パキスタンから釆ました。どうぞよろしく。

はじめまして。パブロてす。サンパウロから寒ました。

And if you have Translation Aggregator open, then it automatically scans your clipboard and breaks the sentences down.

Thought I'd bump this just to mention that I made an anki deck from the Basic and Advanced lessons. It includes audio, the Expression, reading, and english meaning.
I've created it as a listening deck in order to practice my listening, but you can of course rearrange the fields however you want.
This includes every single line, so that means there are a lot of cards that might just be "はい" or "あー". Just delete whatever is not useful to you.

Link doesn't seem to work Sad

The archive is either in unknown format or damaged.

[EDIT] Nvm. Thanks for fixing the link Smile

Seems the apostrophe in the filename was screwing it up, i've renamed it so the link should work now.

I've updated the anki deck to include all of the advanced lessons as well now. That should complete it.
I rather like this, its a good starting point before moving on to real dramas or anime.

Thank you for all the hard work! I think this Anki deck suits my level perfectly (mid-upper beginner, idk I had 1 year of Japanese class in college). Tried raw anime and dorama and I just ended up wondering what exactly was even happening. I don't even know most of the characters names xD shotty listening skills on my part hehe
