Rikaichan problem - Lindley - 2010-04-19
Hi all!
I've been trying to save words into file using Rikaichan, but seem to always get this error:
Error while saving: [Exception..."Component returned failure code 0x800040005" (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nslFileOutputStream.init]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: Chrome://rikaichan/content/ricaichan.js :: anonymous :: line 697" data:no]
Any idea what might be wrong?

Rikaikun is the dead chrome port with not nearly as much functionality. It's probably better to ask around rikaichan or rikaisama places considering the original error message is a rikaichan problem.

the link the first guy gave was no help as it is a site for rikaikun which is different, but thanks anyway. I solved the problem by going to add on options and changing the encoding.
