Using a copulative after an i-adj in plain form is incorrect (and redundant). Just a heads up. I have noticed a number of characters in some videogames doing it, but they always speak in heavy inaka dialects so I'm assuming it's allowed in Tochigi-ben or something.

kanji number 1810: BAD - Asriel - 2010-04-02

In other words,
るろうに剣心の明治剣客浪漫譚は面白いぞ
the だ is unnecessary

Rather than unnecessary, it is ungrammatical.

Yea it is a dialect. I noticed this because the way they are talking isn't the regular form of speech. Makes sense because the time frame is from the 明治 era.
