Unless you've been living under a rock, you're probably aware of geotagging, locative media, Google Maps, Street View, all that stuff, in some form or another. Since this site often operates as a nexus for expatriates and tourists and those simply interested in Japan, with language learning the unifying factor--with Google Maps you can tag places with notes, add photos/audio/video/etc., utilize Street View, make private/public, share location links on group spreadsheets, etc., so...
Perhaps folks living in Japan, or familiar with it, and others who wish to contribute can make a RevTKer map? Or whatever.
