fake AP stylebook - ruiner - 2010-03-11 I thought this was kind of amusing: http://twitter.com/FakeAPStylebook - I recommend not reading it if you're neurotic and don't have a solid grasp of what they're talking about, else it might actually get stuck in your head and cause mistakes. ;p I think it works best when they focus purely on those sticky rules and suchlike. For example, "When considering whether to write in dialect, please don't." Mark Twain is the only author I´ve known to pull it off (in English). The rest fail miserably and create things that are extremely painful to read. Most of it is just funny, though. |
