I just spent a few hours googling and found lots of informations about courses in various parts of the world (and in Italy it seems there is really a thriving shodo culture over there..), but not so much in London UK!
I found some websites of Japanese teachers that eventually would teach shodo, but I didnt find yet a Shodo group or the feeling that more people are interested.
It is only me?
I had one year shodo lessons but they come to an halt when my teacher committed kikoku and returned to japan..
Anybody has any tips? Next thing I might go to the SOAS and put an advertisement there... but it is far away from where I live, so any tip is appreciated!

I found a Japanese calligraphy teacher in London finally and will receive one to one lessons once a week. I work on shifts and it is difficult for me to have a fixed schedule every week so this arrangement is perfect.

the 書道 class i attend it really about the social aspect for me; talking in Japanese, but also sharing studying tips and experiences.
Only £3 for an hours class, hope you come along one day.
