The Flow of the SRS - gyuujuice - 2010-02-09 I have had a perfect attendence of kanji--other than last night when I went past my bed-time. (Yes I am a minor.) I added 200 kanji daily and kept up with all the reviews unitil I reached 1500 or so and from that point on I only added 25 till I reached 1650~ish. Last night I finished all the due cards in orange but couldn't add any cards or restudy the missed cards, which was quite a lot. How will this affect me? Should I do double today or is that destructive to my study? What shoudl we do when we don't add or keep up? Thank you The Flow of the SRS - Zarxrax - 2010-02-09 If you fall behind, just don't add anything new until you get caught up. It's not a big deal, really. The Flow of the SRS - gyuujuice - 2010-02-09 So if I catch up with the reps I can learn yesterdays and todays cards without any serious consequences? -thank you The Flow of the SRS - wccrawford - 2010-02-09 Totally new cards can be ignored until you have time to add them. Don't worry about somehow missing some magic spell that makes them easier if you do them on time. Old cards do degrade rather poorly past their expiration date, but don't fret them, either. If they're late and you remember them, awesome! If you forget them, well, they're still in there to relearn. tl;dr - Don't stress. Do what you can and ignore the rest. |
