EPWing reader for Android mobiles - zanzou - 2010-02-01 Just a note, I just saw there was an EPWing reader for Android on the market, free. It's called "Droidwing" I loaded up 研究社 新和英大辞典 第5版 dictionary and it worked without problems. Also, there's a frontend for WWWJDic as well now, called Aedict that has decent kanji writing input (which is the first program I've found for Android that was decent at all at it). Someone REALLY needs to release a Japanese IME with handwriting recognition. Speaking of which, the video for the new X10's Japanese IME looked cool but not many details about it. EPWing reader for Android mobiles - Rina - 2010-02-01 What's that again? Is that I'm going to buy an androidphone soon and will want all the good apps to learn japanese/Chinese there :p Thanks. Btw, I'm waiting for Motorola Dext to come out, do recommend any other? EPWing reader for Android mobiles - zanzou - 2010-02-01 Depends on where you live, really... and what carrier you're using, or how much you're willing to spend. For an unlocked phone, can't go wrong with the Nexus One (the Google unlocked Android device). It's gotten great reviews and has a pretty nice camera. EPWing reader basically allows you to read the dictionary files from electronic dictionaries (which you can buy, or find around on the internet...). Will sorta turn your phone into a very feature-lite electronic dictionary. I've really noticed recently more apps coming out for Android, which has been pretty nice. |
