Interesting Things to Do in Tokyo - Tzadeck - 2010-01-16
So, I don't live in Tokyo but recently I go there quite often for various reasons. Since the trip is rather far, when I do go out there I try to do interesting things around Tokyo! So, I was wondering, what interesting things would you recommend to do in Tokyo? I'm also around Kanagawa-prefecture quite often, so recommendations for that area are also welcome (Yokohama, Kawasaki, and so on). I usually go with my Japanese girlfriend, so things that couples can do are especially good, especially things that wouldn't bore a Japanese woman.
So, any good places to go, things to see, restaurants, bars, etc? Things that aren't very famous would be especially good, since I've had my fill of travel guides.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography (Tokyo-to Shashin Bijutsukan) has great stuff from Ihei Kimura and Henri Cartier-Bresson. I just went last weekend and liked it quite a bit. You'll find it in Ebisu, which has lots of posh little cafes and restaurants. Good stuff for a good date.
