Smart fm has separate entries for them both.
Tangorin.com has them as the same word written differently.

Both the smartfm sentences seems to convey the same meaning. Werid no? Have you guys found any other words like this on Smartfm?

Daijirin agrees with EDICT that they're the same word, just different choice of kanji. (EDICT's policy is two-out-of-three: ie if two out of three of kanji, reading, meaning are identical then it gets a single entry rather than two.)

That's easy. Grey and gray. And any other words that have 2 legit spellings. Adding in the ability for a word to have alternate spellings would have been a serious pain in the rear for their programmers and for almost no advantage whatsoever. I'm not surprised that you found an example of it.

The antonyms of 少量 and 小量 are 多量 (たりょう) and 大量 (たいりょう) respectively. Whether the homonyms are the same word is a matter of definition (of "the same word"). One of the meanings of 小量 is pretty much the same as 少量, which basically has only one meaning. The other meaning can be translated as "narrow-minded," "finicky," "pedantic" or the like. 少量 doesn't have this meaning. The antonyms have the exact same difference, so 大量 guys can be the the opposite of the narrow-minded, but 多量 people are always tons of human beings.
I don't think 多量 and 大量 are the same words because they are different in meaning, kanji, and pronunciation. So I don't think it's not a stretch to say their antonyms are also different words; they just happened to have the same sounds and share part of their meanings. You could say 少量 vs. 小量 is pretty much the same as the "different kanji for different meaning" system in the same word like 会う vs. 遇う, though.

What you've said does nothing to demonstrate that 少量 and 小量 are the same word. All you did is show that there exist words (in another language, no less) that have alternate spellings.
On a more concrete note, 広辞苑 says:
しょうりょう
【小量・少量】
①すこしの数量。
②（「小量」と書く）度量が狭いこと。狭量。「－な人物」
So if 広辞苑 is to be believed, they are being treated as essentialy the same word with overlapping meaning, but they are not completely interchangeable.
