viewership ratings in japan - nest0r - 2009-12-28 Out of curiosity, how are broadcast ratings treated by companies in Japan, with regards to rescheduling, cancellations, funding, et cetera? Specifically I'm referring to dorama, with the viewership ratings listed on the d-addicts wiki. viewership ratings in japan - Erubey - 2009-12-28 I'm not sure I understand the question. I thought that's how it works pretty much everywhere. Although it would be interesting if there were actual criteria/formulas used to determine whether a show gets to continue production. Maybe there's more information on this available in Japanese? Oh, and you could also try asking on D-Addicts and other dorama forums. Or maybe try contacting one of the companies involved in collecting/publishing the viewership statistics for more information. I don't know if they'd actually tell you anything, but it can't hurt to ask, right? Report back if you find out. ![]() EDIT: Removed incorrectly used economics jargon. viewership ratings in japan - howtwosavealif3 - 2009-12-31 I know of Regatta.
