Clean kana generation in Anki - Tobberoth - 2009-12-15
Yesterday I made an ugly hack to the Japanese plugin to Anki to have clean kana generation. It generates like usually but without furigana. So basically you get generated readings like before the Japanese plugin, but it's generated using Mecab like now and you don't get lists of readings. The plugin still works as normal, but if you have a JustKana field, the "clean" generation will go there as well, so you can have both furigana and non-furigana fields in the same deck if you want.
If anyone wants the hack, send me a mail or PM.
My personal reason for wanting it is that minianki still doesn't support plugins, so furigana enabled cards look horrible and production cards are impossible since the kanji show up.
