Nintendo DS Flashcard Homebrew: DSLearnJ - Zarxrax - 2008-06-08 I've watched some anime on my ds, and the quality is about the same as you might see on youtube--not great but watchable. However it can be very difficult to read subtitles. If you are watching without subtitles that shouldn't be a problem. Nintendo DS Flashcard Homebrew: DSLearnJ - lazar - 2008-06-08 Thanks roderick So the flash card u recommended, the 1gb --> link the site gave me ---> http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2981~r.74066433 is about 30$ Another link I saw in this thread a bit earlier has a 2gb card for like 32$ --> link --> http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.10401 however, it says "TopToy DSTT Card for NDS Lite + Kingston Japan 2GB TF" for NDS LITE... Can you tell me if this 2gb version is worth it roderick? Zarxrax Wrote:However it can be very difficult to read subtitles. However, I do have a friend who is an expert on these kinds of cards so if you are not in a rush, I could ask him tomorrow. His ordeal is better than that of professional review sites, I can tell you that . The N-Card I have is: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3315 . I can fully recommend it. However, I do not know whether it can play anime or not. I'll have to get my DS in a bit and find out .Whatever card you get, let it be a 2 GB one. You will need it. <edit> The N-card range of cards can play video, music and view pictures through the Moonshell application. Though I'd like to add that, during my first and thus far only test of watching anime I noticed that the video lagged quite a bit. A huge downside for if you want to thoroughly enjoy a movie. However, I will experiment with a variety of options to improve and / or lower the quality of video-files whilst converting them and see if it makes a difference. Has anyone else experienced the same problem so far? ---------------------------------------------------------- I am just going to link this here for convenience: http://www.scdev.org/forum/index.php?topic=6760 It is a manual on Moonshell, the program you use to watch videos, listen to music or view images on your DS.
