It lets you input Japanese (and Chinese and Korean) in a manner similar to IME. Seems OK for people who don't always have the ability to install things on a computer (for example, a work computer). Anybody know of a better alternative, though? RE: Japanese input when you can't install IME - umeboshi - 2016-05-24 You can try https://www.hiraganakeyboard.com , it's an online Japanese IME that allows typing in romaji and converting the input to hiragana, katakana and kanji.
