Mango - balloonguy - 2007-09-19 Has anyone seen Mango? Any thoughts about it? Mango - narafan - 2007-09-19 loading now........ edit: alright, but its a bit of a standard "cookie cutter" class type thing.. I prefer AJATT method or similar
Mango - skylarth - 2007-09-19 yeah, i just looked at it today... i didnt work too far into it, but i wasnt all that impressed.. it didnt seem like a really viable way to learn stuff.. like is there a srs review built in? or are you expected to do you our own reviews? there wasnt really any forum or any help i could find.. also, the speech was very slow (if i remember correctly) even slower than pimsluer.. dunno if thats good or bad.. thoughts anyone? are there any reasons i should give it another chance? Mango - mairov - 2007-09-19 It is good for beginners, if you use only the dialogs... the explanations take to much. It take one hour to to a lesson. Instead you can just record the dialog audio and text and listen and read it many times. Also there is no Kanji in the dialogs, I dont like this aproach, real japanese is full of kanji. Well, it seems like pimsleur, and in the same way as pimsleur, it is to much time and not so much result. That is my opinion... |
