Hmm interesting.
If you ask me the secret is RTK, Grammar + Vocab, Sub2Srs = win.
Taking a shortcut will only sell you short on real Japanese ability.

Didn't think it was something you "mined" like we've done with other areas. Isn't that book more about concepts to help approach Japanese better, not unlike "Japanese, the Spoken Language" (I hope I got the title right).
Granted, I only thumbed through 13 SSJ at the mall so there may be useful SRS worthy material.

Actually, the book has some nice ideas. Worth your time, I think. Does a nice treatment of "If" and offers some interesting tips/ways to get around saying what you don't know.
I don't have a deck, but I manually typed them into my main sentence deck.

Yea, I think this book is more of a 'meta' language-learning book, though the way the exercises are set up for actively thinking about one's usage and using shortcuts when you're in a jam could present some inspiration for ways to set up cards.
