Has anybody else been watching/listening to 恋時雨 ? (fuji tv's page, anime news network) Youtube has a trailer which should be enough to determine whether it's your cup of tea or not.
Not actually anime -- it's an actress reading some short stories (about 5 minutes each) set to background music and illustrations. I really liked them, and I thought they were pretty good intermediate-level listening material (clearly read, short, not particularly difficult language), so I thought it was worth mentioning them here...

Trailer seemed interesting enough. I liked the music and the illustrations, and you are right about the stories being easy to understand. Thanks for pointing this out!
