There is a site I am trying to find, hopefully you can help. I only looked at it briefly before, but it seemed really good for speech & listening practice.

Basically you work with someone else that is learning your language, and you spend half the time speaking one language and half the time on the other so you both get practice. The site gives you topics, like talking about your favorite book.

Any ideas? I thought I bookmarked it for later, but I don't see it anywhere. (And searches have not been helpful)

No, it's similar to the idea of Lang-8, but you are talking with one another instead of writing.

Thanks kazelee Wink That's not the one I had seen before, but it will be nice to have a few back-ups in case I can't find it again. One of the reasons I really liked the other site was that it gave you different topics to discuss each time, so there was a little structure.

LOL. That was in my favorites as well. I thought it was something more like lang-8 though, because the entire page was in Japanese in my other browser^^.

Yes, I guess I need to look into that site a little more!

I do like the structured idea of 'My Language Exchange', like the fact that they set a time to speak in each language and give you topics to talk about. That way no one is sitting around saying 'ok... so, what should we do now?'.

But, looking over the questions there, I know there are some that would be annoying, and there aren't as many as I had hoped. I marked a few sites with question lists so maybe I will just use those on my own.
