Getting images back in Anki. - KREVA - 2009-09-13 Greetings, folks. I made this post because I recently had to re-install Windows due to some computer problems. Anyways, I had my Anki decks synced to the Anki server (or something like that) and I was able to retrieve my decks; however, my images aren't showing up during reviews. All I get is a little square where the picture used to be. I still have the folder with the images and put the folder in the same directory as it was in during the duration of my previously installed Windows, but the pictures aren't showing up. Is there any way around this or am I going to have to insert all of those pictures manually again? Appreciate any help, guys (and girls). Thanks. My deck's name is the same as the last deck that was using the pictures, which is '日本語のデック', or 'mydeck2'. I will try to change the deck name to the picture folder to see what happens. Getting images back in Anki. - KREVA - 2009-09-13 It didn't work by switching the names, but I managed to get them working again. What I did was realize that there were actually 2 picture folders, one in my pictures folder that I was using to save pictures from online, and then the one Anki makes. I transferred all of the images from the old Anki image folder from my previously installed Windows to my new Anki image folder, and to my luck the pictures showed up! I guess the folder I used to save the images to from off the internet isn't the image folder I should be backing up. Thanks for your help.
