Kanji in Context and KO - thecite - 2009-08-16 Does anyone have any idea if there are many double ups of Kanji between KO and book 2 of KIC. I'm intending to move on to book 2 of KIC, but don't want to buy it if a lot of the kanji are already in KO. Kanji in Context and KO - Katsuo - 2009-08-16 If you extract the relevant columns from the following two spreadsheets it's possible to compare. SP1 & SP2 Note that book two of KIC is numbers 1201-1947. Kanji in Context and KO - Thora - 2009-08-16 Kanji in Context Vol1 has 1200 kanji. V2 has another 700 or so. The order is primarily based on usefulness (and some secondary special secret grouping methods). I haven't seen KO2001, but I think I read that the first book has about 1100 kanji and a second book has 500 or so? So I'm assuming that you've completed the first KO book. If you are hoping for a more detailed list, Katsuo has kindly posted a bunch of kanji lists in a stickied topic here. You can create a concordance table for various books using the Kanjidic numbering as the shared standard. KO2001 is there. I believe K in Context is included as well. If not, let me know and I'll see if I can add it. edit - looks like SuperKatsuo swooped in while I was locating her files. her? him? bird? plane? |
