Another good one is All Around Us, here's the subs http://www.mediafire.com/?igi3i7kdhi54g29 japanese subtitles for films - Ralliart - 2010-08-16 I enjoyed "Departures" (おくりびと) a lot (won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film of the Year, 2009). The subs for it are in the second list: http://sharebee.com/6f81a3d9 (I think only the Megaupload link is up). I haven't downloaded it yet to check which version it is for, but the movie itself can be easily found. japanese subtitles for films - thecite - 2010-09-11 quincy Wrote:Even if you Walk and Walk (歩いても歩いても) is pretty good and it has Hiroshi Abe[/url]So I downloaded the film, and what do you know, 30 seconds in it's 夏川結衣! How many times do these two star together! I should really do a mash-up of 結婚出来ない男、新参者 and 歩いても歩いても and put it on YouTube to confuse people. japanese subtitles for films - Aijin - 2010-09-11 mygbmygb Wrote:Im late but thanks for the subtitles. japanese subtitles for films - nest0r - 2011-01-03 There are Japanese language idx/subs for Wangan Midnight the Movie (axine), I don't suppose anyone can find those? These appear to be in two tracks but seem to be identical except for some formatting differences? http://ifile.it/twdh875 And while I'm at it, it appears Sharebee is down, so I've compiled all (62) of the previous subtitles (including Yamato, I only added a separate link for it for those who have the others already) into better single links that are fast and don't have reCaptcha or wait times; also I added Welcome to the Quiet Room which I had linked to in a separate thread previously: http://ifile.it/b2fm80h or http://www.mediafire.com/?i05qcp2y9962b2v 10 promises to my dog 20th century boys 252 signal of life ai no rukeichi akumu tantei (nightmare detective) be a man samurai school chameleon coffee jikou crows zero cyborg girl dear friends departures detroit metal city even if you walk and walk gegege no kitaro god's puzzle goemon happy flight haze (shinya tsukamoto) heavenly forest hebi ni piasu i remember the sky ichi kaidan kami no hidarite, akuma no migite (god's left hand, devil's right hand) koshonin mashita masayoshi (negotiator) maboroshi no yamataikoku mamiya kyodai (the mamiya brothers) otoshimono (ghost train) outrage paco and the magical picture book pandemic piano forest postman resident evil: degeneration sakuran school days with a pig shikyu no kioku space battleship yamato stormy night summer days with coo suspect x sweet rain the black swindler the cherry orchard the funeral the fure fure girl the girl who cut time (1983) the graduates the homeless student the last princess the magic hour the matsugane potshot affair the seaside motel the sword of alexander tokumei kakaricho tadano hitoshi the movie tsukiji uogashi sandaime umizaru vexille welcome to the quiet room zebraman 2 zen japanese subtitles for films - IceCream - 2011-06-25 yesssss!!! great, thanks!!!
japanese subtitles for films - kiriyama - 2011-07-03 Wow, so many subs - and for some of my favorite movies too. Has anyone had any luck with the subs for Mamiya Kyodai though? All I seem to get is gibberish. japanese subtitles for films - wccrawford - 2011-07-05 I watched Space Battleship Yamato 2010 the other day with the JP subs and I have to say they really helped. I would have been mostly lost with just the audio. My reading really is better than my listening still. japanese subtitles for films - ta12121 - 2011-07-05 wccrawford Wrote:I watched Space Battleship Yamato 2010 the other day with the JP subs and I have to say they really helped. (Just keep srsing and plugging in to audio with text) japanese subtitles for films - ta12121 - 2011-07-05 Have to say, text is the best way to gain solid listening skills. Since you convert what they are saying to a meaning(English in the beginning). And it just makes sense over time japanese subtitles for films - nest0r - 2011-07-07 By the way, keep in mind, if you want a rough reference with selectable text, you can generate .srt versions of the above files using cb4960's tool, vobsub2text: http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?pid=120666#pid120666 japanese subtitles for films - nest0r - 2011-07-11 Batch II (12 files): http://ifile.it/lvduz2m Or: http://www.mediafire.com/?546s3wnrphndxyg 13 assassins* air doll akai ito (threads of destiny) akunin (villain) fireworks from the heart hanamizuki heaven's door high kick girl oto na ri partners raiou (the lightning tree) surely someday *Very poor quality OCR of 13 Assassins was all I could procure. If you can find the zdzdz version of 13 Assassins (which is the complete version rather than the mutilated American version, from what I've gathered) and want to extract the .idx/.sub (with this demux/GUI suite: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MKVExtractGUI-2), that'd be useful. japanese subtitles for films - nest0r - 2011-07-16 Batch III (5 subtitles) http://ifile.it/qdgr1p2 Or: http://www.mediafire.com/?aasd331gay5j5z1 Box Gantz Nana to Kaoru The Code Umizaru 3: The Last Message This will be the last batch from me, I think. I'll eventually recompile all into one large batch again. The zdzdz releases generally feature Japanese .idx/.sub files in the .mkv, which you may extract with the aforementioned tool(s), if you have such .mkv files (for ah, public domain Japanese movies). (Here's the links again, just make sure the GUI is in the same folder as the mkvtoolnix stuff: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MKVtoolnix and http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MKVExtractGUI-2 - It only takes a few seconds, according to my friend's friend who uses these with public domain .mkv files). japanese subtitles for films - dusmar84 - 2011-07-16 Is it possible to somehow convert an srt file to a .txt file so I could print it out and read it on the go? japanese subtitles for films - gdaxeman - 2011-07-16 dusmar84 Wrote:Is it possible to somehow convert an srt file to a .txt file so I could print it out and read it on the go?srt subtitles are plain text files, so you can simply open them in any text editor and print without problems. japanese subtitles for films - dusmar84 - 2011-07-16 Well it definitely opened but its now a bunch of gobbly gook. How do I get this back to being readable? japanese subtitles for films - gdaxeman - 2011-07-16 dusmar84 Wrote:Well it definitely opened but its now a bunch of gobbly gook. How do I get this back to being readable? That depends on what the problem is. If it's the encoding, you have to select the right one (for that you'd need an editor that offers this functionality). japanese subtitles for films - nest0r - 2011-07-16 Added a .idx/.sub version of 13 Assassins so no need to rely on the terrible OCR'd .srt; judging by the runtime, I believe this (Zoo's version) is also the full rather than Americanized version: http://ifile.it/9c8324p Or: http://www.mediafire.com/?2xs0q8cxcuxd8gh japanese subtitles for films - nest0r - 2011-07-16 dusmar84 Wrote:Well it definitely opened but its now a bunch of gobbly gook. How do I get this back to being readable?Well, if it's Japanese text and you have display issues, most likely it's related to the encoding, i.e. Shift_JIS or UTF-8, etc. If you're not already aware, it's perhaps something you should learn about if you're going to be studying Japanese. If you open the .srt in Firefox, just go to View→Character Encoding and try to change it to Shift_JIS. I think with mixed text files (files with English and Japanese) Firefox has a hard time automatically recognizing stuff. If you're in Notepad++ you can just click on Encoding or something like that. |
