I also didn`t do it, so I don`t know where exactly the code doing it is. I`ll poke at it a bit.

I tried to compile the source of ankids, but failed.

After installing the devkitarm environment I successfully compiled some examples. Compiling ankids gave some errors. I found out that it uses the freetype library, but how and where do I install it. I downloaded and did make .. but hey that would build it for my operating system not the nds.

ToasterMage, can you give me some hints please? What else do I need?

Hi I was hoping someone would be kind enough to help me out. I'm living in japan and trying to set up ankids without any luck. I got it on the ds but I can't get it to sync. I don't really know anything about programming and am not sure if I'm putting the computer ip in the wrong place or if my network is set up wrong for syncing the ds. below is a copy of my .conf file

I have a wireless router and set up static Ip on the computer. I also set the WAN to the same ip. but still no luck.

Can you connect to the DS through a Wi-Fi enabled game? Are you using encryption settings that are compatible with the DS?

When I was reviewing previously I didn't have any suspended cards(cards I hadn't learned yet). But I just added a large deck and haven't finished learning the info and ankids seems to be adding the suspended cards. I fiddled around with the settings (setting it to learn 0, only adding on deck, reinstalling the r7 build...) but nothing worked. Is there something I'm doing wrong? or is there a patch or something for the program?

i'm trying to sync using a laptop, what should i do?

do i need to open anki on the laptop then sync to DS or what?

and unfortunately, i can't install anki on windows vista.the laptop has windows vista
or is it just me? please let me know how to make anki work on vista and how to sync.thanks

You have to have Anki installed, then install the plugin, restart Anki, and if you have Anki DS configured properly (you have to put the IP address of the laptop in the config file), you should be able to hit start on Anki DS and it should sync.

Yes. How otherwise would you sync to Anki?

Anki works just fine on 7, should work fine on Vista too. If you have problems, you should disabled UAC (User Account Control)...Google it.

i've done it but the phyton can't run it..it looks for the object next to the import file..in the code
