Well this thread didn't disappoint. That was extremely stupid. I wonder if that guy had ever seen a Japanese person before coming to Japan. What I learned from that video is 1). Japanese people look Japanese 2). There are beautiful girls in Japan(just like in every country) 3). They have McDonald's in Japan. Useful.

I'm pretty sure its fake. The guy (used to? I don't know, I don't use it anymore) frequent a social media service called friendfeed and regularly lived up to his name- "IgortheTroll".

This sort of thing confirms the worst stereotypes in the imagination of many Japanese when they imagine ‘foreigner’, particularly ‘American’, images that overlap, unfortunately.

I don’t see anything remotely ‘faked’ about it, but:

Can you imagine what would happen to an aggressive man with a video camera behaving in this way in Los Angeles, for example, stalking women on the street and walking into a restaurant with his camera pointed at their asses and legs and carrying on loudly in a foreign language?

Igor is lucky that it’s a peaceful society, largely unarmed, and innocent enough to allow this sort of arrogant nonsense to take place without its perpetrator ending up arrested or in hospital or worse.

Better I would have thought not to post such a thing here.
