Flyff Japanese Servers - bombpersons - 2009-07-17 I can confirm that as long as you can sign up through a proxy, you can play on Japanese Flyff servers no problem =D Basically your average MMORPG, but it's the first one I could get working on Japanese servers. I used this thread to get a proxy working: http://www.onrpg.com/boards/62115.html If anyone can't get the VPN software working I can make you an account if you like, since thats the only thing you need the VPN for =D Flyff Japanese Servers - Tobberoth - 2009-07-17 Please make an account for me Sounds like a great way to train output.

Are there many players? Flyff Japanese Servers - Joyo1945 - 2009-07-18 I used to play it in English. As free (It's business model, at least at that time, was a store where you bought in-game items for real money) MMORPG's go, it wasn't bad. It was rather similar to a lot of Korean-made MMORPG's. The fact that (I believe around lvl 20 or something...) you can actually buy a broom or something and fly around the game world was pretty cool, although it was a couple of years ago that I played so it could be different now. There were plenty of players on the English server. Sometimes too many. Flyff Japanese Servers - bombpersons - 2009-07-19 It's not too overcrowded when I play (though that may be the time difference). It is a very standard MMO, though can buy brooms and boards and fly with them which is quite fun. Basically, kill monsters, level up etc. (most of this is done in parties however, so you'll always have someone to talk to) I though it would be a fun way to practice output =D Flyff Japanese Servers - Tobberoth - 2009-07-19 Personally I got through most of the first tutorial so to speak... then my computer restarted. I was like WTF, that just doesn't happen. So I haven't started it since, though I probably will. Anyway, the game is easy enough to understand, I personally found the tutorial text extremely simple to read, so it was more or less like playing it in English. Overall, I don't think the game is all that good, especially not for someone who is used to "real" MMORPGS like WoW. But hey, you shouldn't play it for fun, you should play it for japanese communication
Flyff Japanese Servers - bombpersons - 2009-07-19 To be honest it is a bit boring to be begin with, since you have to level to lvl 15 before you can choose a class. This can take a fair bit of time, but once you choose your class it gets much more interesting =D Flyff Japanese Servers - Hashiriya - 2009-07-19 there is a wealth of games on the PS3 that can be played using a Japanese PSN account... including Home, Angel Love Online, and まいにちいっしょ.. also several games i have bought USA versions of, when i switch the OS language to Japanese, you can play the Japanese versions of them (including Street Fighter IV and Battlefield 1943) Flyff Japanese Servers - bombpersons - 2009-07-19 Yeah you can do the same with Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 =D |
