I need a quick way to go from a Heisig index to the KO2001 index for the same Kanji.
I'm about 600 Kanji in and really enjoying learning them. One thing I haven't been doing as I go is writing the kanji. writing isn't as important as it used to be - as everyone just uses the keyboard. My Japanese friends keep forgetting stroke order as they don't have to write. Ideally I would have been, as it helps reinforce the memory and helps with dictionary look up, but digging out a paper and pen each time and place I was doing RtK was a bit of a hassle.
Anyway I'd like to get into writing now for the remaining Kanji. I have KO2001 (the cd) dynamically showing the stroke order, and I have "Kanji Sonomama Rakubiki Jiten" for the nintendo DS, which will allow me to write without messing with paper - and see if I got it right. Both of these are fun things to do so learning is enhanced.
So anyone know how to go from the Heisig index to the KO2001 index, I've dug around all over the place and can't find this. Don't want to re-invent the wheel.
