But you have to change the "Language for non-Unicode programs" to Japanese. (Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Advanced) When you finish, change it back to the original language. For example, I converted some videos to DivX so I could play it on my DVD player, and it's basically a checkbox on whether you want it to include subs in the video or not.
