Leitner flashcard system - RoboTact - 2007-01-07 I liked review approach I experienced on this site. I never actually used any flashcard system before. Now I have an idea of using Leitner-like system to memorize unfamiliar English words encountered here and there. Does anyone know of any tool supporting this system? Or maybe open-source project which can be easily adopted for this purpose? Thinking of writing one myself next weekend if nothing comes up. Leitner flashcard system - RoboTact - 2007-01-08 Thanks, mnemosyne looks interesting. Less explicit, but there's no point in requiring it to be otherwise. Twinkle seems to be for Palm (contains nonsense Russian words in screenshot section of their site btw), Stackz is even more complicated. It does sound like good option on a PC, but I've never tried it myself. Leitner flashcard system - JimmySeal - 2007-01-08 Never used mnemosyne so I can't compare, but Memory Lifter also uses the Leitner system, and I found it to be pretty helpful when I was studying Spanish a while ago. It's mac-only though |
