I left ADBJG at work、which would probably explain it clearly as I'm sure it is some elementary concept I'm blanking out on, but I was wondering about this phrase: 今私はあなたの知らない色。

I know it is basically saying "I'm your unknown color now." but what is the significance of adding the の particle after 今 instead of it just existing without the particle which is often the case? If it was just 今私 would the meaning be any different?

"The me of right now" (The way I am now)
vs
"Right now I"

Just making a guess: 今の私 is the you as opposed to another time, so almost a sort comparison. Whereas 今私 what you are about to do at the moment.

"The present me" or "my present self" might be more natural sounding.
の can be used to sort of describe nouns with other nouns. 今 is being used to describe 私. It's not really referring to a location in time. Also, COLORS?
