Unicode encodings of primitives - mafried - 2009-05-01

Hey, I'm in the process of building a database of kanji <-> primitive composition. One of the things I need in order to make this work is a way of representing with plain text primitives which are not themselves official kanji. For the most part this isn't a problem, but some non-radical primitives are giving me trouble. In particular, I can't seem to find an encoding for either of the enclosing primitives in 右 and 左 (Heisig's by my side--note the two are different).

Anyone know how I might go about encoding these in unicode?

Well, I use katakana no and the kanji for ichi/one.

右:
ノ一 口
左:
一ノ工

Of course there are also メ and ナ that have the right stroke order.

Hmm.. ナ isn't a bad idea...
