Anki - stevesayskanpai - 2009-04-28 Haha, just realised that the Kanji for Anki- well one of them- isn't actually in the Heisig method! Since memorise is already in use, lets use "recite from memory" 諳 - (words, sounds) First Story- some people read the words, some people listen to the sounds. Either way, we all use SRSs to recite things from memory.
Anki - mentat_kgs - 2009-04-28 I wonder what's the difference from 暗記 Anki - Codexus - 2009-04-28 I think that's just a case of substituting an uncommon kanji with a similar one of similar appearance and reading. Anki - sethg - 2009-04-28 Awesome! I've never seen 諳. Makes a lot more sense. |
