I am currently playing a forum based Pokemon RPG in Japanese and we use Japanese angle brackets 《like these》to enclose certain out-of-role comments. We also use 【these brackets】for other kinds of comment. The latter are simple to type - alt/opt ( and ) when the input is in Japanese. But I can't seem to find any direct way of typing 《these brackets》directly. Currently I am just pasting them. Does anyone know a more direct method? The brackets come a bit of a way down the list but you can "train" it to put them first if you are needing them often. it still leaves 「」as the main (non-list) default, which, of course is what one wants. |
