Simple tip to get imagination going - ファブリス - 2006-06-15 This is a simple tip I read in a book about "mind maps". When facing new kanji, especially at the beginning of a new session of making mnemonics and building images, you may sometimes feel like there's a black screen and no ideas seems to come up. A good trick is to give the mind something to play with. Don't wait for something to come up or search in the dark for too long. Because the memory is a big association machine, give it something, anything, and it will automatically start giving you new items, just by association. So give it an object from your room, a character from a movie you saw recently, etc. Simple tip to get imagination going - ivoSF - 2006-06-16 for me the best are stories that deal with something weird or unique that hapend or that i have seen. for example, i was at work and a machine broke, what caused an injury on mine hand. so the kanji for damage is mine hand that got hurt+i was an employee when it hapend. becouse it hapend to you, you can easy remember an obsucure story you wouldnt recall otherwise |
