Need help translating audio - Oisi42 - 2009-01-24

Hello everyone. I work with an anime subbing group (as an editor). We normally translate from spanish dubs and apply subtitles to the original Japanese episode but we noticed a but of inconsistency with one of the lines. Anyone able to understand this short audio? http://www.sendspace.com/file/n3wvzv Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this.

The first half is clear enough:
陶芸教室の怪事件!
とうげいきょうしつ の かいじけん!
The mystery of the pottery classroom!

The second half, phonetically is:
よのみ の もじ も なず が いっぱい!
Is よのみ somebody's name, perhaps? I assume もじ is 文字。No idea what なず is, it's not in any of my dictionaries. But there's alot of it, whatever it is.

It could be 謎, which would make sense.

I also distinctly heard 謎

Ah, that does make sense.

Also, I believe it is 湯飲み/湯呑み (ゆのみ) instead of よのみ

Thanks so much for the help. The first line definitely fits the situation. We feel the second line is pretty close too. From what is done so far it roughly comes out to "the writing on the cup is full of mystery" right? that would fit the situation as well.

Would it make sense in context to translate 謎 as "puzzle" or "riddle"? The last line would then be "It's chock full of puzzles" or something like that. Would that work?

I'd go for いっぱい meaning 'lots of' rather than 'full' but I guess you can pick what's appropriate based on the contents of the anime. Are there lots of writings or just one teacup with writing on it?

Conan No. 229 right?
