Yes. I use it to: Watch Dramas, Read Manga, Pick up Japanese women, Sing Karaoke.

edit: My fiance told me I'm no longer allowed to use Japanese to pick up Japanese women. Guess it's time to learn Korean.

I'd personally like to know more about how he himself learned kanji and Japanese, what level he was at when he wrote the book etc.

i can imagine somewhere in this crazy world there is a guy that is married to a white woman who is learning Japanese on the side so he can talk to his Japanese girlfriends on the phone etc. in his wife's presence without her ever knowing a thing

He was kind enough to respond to my inquiry on this last month. He replied that he and Tim are getting together this month to make a final push and ship it to the publishers, which would hopefully lead to a fall release.
