My new favorite story on this site IS...! - TheSlakey - 2008-12-31 I'm sure all of you are wondering what my favorite story has been, but no need to wait any longer! I'm hitting a roadblock and want to tell you all! Trust, by Hyland1! Congratulations! HILARIOUS STORY!! Beautiful in it's simplicity and outrageously funny in its delivery. *clap clap clap* Here it is, in all it's glory: "We found a bundle of severed heads in your room, its difficult to trust you." hahahahah Now... to try and study again! My new favorite story on this site IS...! - SammyB - 2008-12-31 Haha, I actually found this one REALLY useful. It stuck straight away. My new favorite story on this site IS...! - joxn_costello - 2008-12-31 "Penal", by tcieff: Penal servitude is served until indications show that one has had a change of heart. In other words, when your indications change from "I'M GOING TO BE A BADASS MOUNTAIN KING TASKMASTER" to "I heart the world". As a bonus, it helps me remember "indications" as well. My new favorite story on this site IS...! - Bryan_Saxton - 2008-12-31 Mine was the story for 'In Front:' "When I get HORNy my FLESH SABER sticks out in front of me." Crass, but I will never ever forget that character. Thanks dircabracket. My new favorite story on this site IS...! - vgambit - 2008-12-31 "Captured" by adhmm: "Mr. T can't be captured. This kanji is lying." My new favorite story on this site IS...! - Tobberoth - 2008-12-31 It's a great story, unfortunately the "trust" in it is sorta different from what 頼 means, at least in the words I know (where it means trust someone to do something). Then again, the only word I know which uses it is 頼む, now that I think about it. My new favorite story on this site IS...! - TheSlakey - 2008-12-31 lol! good additions. I wish I had used Mr. T for my "person" primitive, there are a lot of good stories that just don't work unless he's stuck in there. As long as I can remember to write the kanji, I'm sure sentence mining will help solidify the actual meaning for me later. Here's another great one: (from thegeezer3) Patient goes to see the doctor for an examination. he says "Everytime i walk i fart". Doc asks him to take a few steps and he farts constantly. Docs puzzled and has never seen this before. He asks him to repeat and it happens again. So the doc tells him to go to the examinatino area and take his pants off. He then gets out a giant wooden awl slightly hooked at the end. What the f*k are you going to do with that!? asks teh patient. "Open the windows, it fcking stinks in here!" replies the doc. My new favorite story on this site IS...! - Katsuo - 2009-01-02 Prepare a "Do not Disturb" (妨) sign, then give lots of women (女) directions (方) to your room. Edit: Though my actual favourite is Filip's "doubt" story. Putting the keyword inside the phrase "have serious doubts" was the key.
