Another common one I use with my girlfriend constantly: ima ne ni ikanakya - I have to go to sleep now. Verb stem + ni = "With the objective of....". particle に help! - thermal - 2008-12-29 The grammer rule is ます-stem +に+movement verb. The ます-stem denotes the main reason for your movement. 友達の家へ遊びに行きます。- I am going to my friend's house to play. 写真を撮りにきました。- I came to take photos. |
