I don't think representations of sex and sexuality in any medium has managed to reach the baseline of creativity and egalitarianism when it's good or blanket generic incompetence when it's bad that violence has and thus I put extra sensitivity and criticism into those aspects of media on an aesthetic and principled level; but, I'm confident that it will evolve as long as people hold themselves to higher standards be it for mass or elitist consumption (and as long in the meantime that it's not 'thrown out with the bathwater').
