Real Flashcards for sale anywhere? - Mesqueeb - 2008-12-10

Heya everyone!
To make a long story short::
When I have most free time I can't access a computer. And I don't really want to buy a palm-computer thingy.

Are there anywhere real Heisig Flash cards for sale? I don't really have time to be making them myself, nor have I got a printer...
I would appreciate it if someone knew of a site where I can buy them, or is willing to lend me their old flash cards xD
Thanks a lot!

Hmmm. That's interesting. You're willing to pay for the cards but not a palm thingy. I know where you can get some for 2500USD Wink.

A cheap laptop from like 3 years ago could cost you like 50 bucks.

A set of cards for RTK1 is available, but not many shops keep it in stock.

Last Sunday I was in Tower Records in Shibuya. They had a set.

No, you don't understand, I explained bad that's why. xD
I can't access a computer because it's not allowed, it's because I am an exchange student and study Japanese during every class. Only have no time to review. So I'd like to review in class.

Shibuya that's interesting. They had Heisig flash cards? All the way here in Japan Heisig flash cards?
However, I can't really go to Shibuya, I live near Nagoya. Is there a shop there that would sell them? Or can I buy them on internet somewhere? Thanks!

I found it on Amazon, but it's 100 dollars! That is so expensive! I might as well buy a palm then! Does anyone know a cheaper set available? I guess not... Well, the problem is my stories are soo fun and good, but when I review cards I learned just the other day, I have forgotten all of them! And it's not that my story sucks, because when I see it it's allways: Oooh Yeah! How could I forget! So I was thinking maybe by reviewing more in class...
Arrrrgh, this is a pretty pointless thread leading nowhere I think, since I am not up for paying 100 dollars for some paper...
Sorry guys, I might have wasted your time. Maybe I should only do 20 Kanji a day, and once I learned them immediately doing them again the same day, instead of 40 a day which I forget anyway?

Think of it as half a cent per card. And you get a nice box to keep them in.

5c actually.

Anyhow, why not just write them out by hand? Its not like you have to do them all in one go... just however many you study each day.

If there's a Kinokuniya in Nagoya they might have a set (their store in Shinjuku had two when I was there a week ago but I didn't check the price). Beautifully boxed, real 'old school' quality.

Also you could dig around on their online store but I couldn't see anything at a glance:

たぶんナゴヤの紀伊はセトがある?最近訪ねた新宿の店は二本があった。所で、ほんとに綺麗なセトです。インターネトで探しましたか?

Do you only want non-Japanese card? Else White Rabbit Press has some nice cards that are set up around the kanji for the JLPT. http://www.whiterabbitpress.com - I'm planning on ordering the JLPT2 set soon.
