Does anyone know of a site out there that matches up learners of Japanese with native speakers of Japanese (or other learners) via skype or some other application?

Thanks

There are tons of sites like that, but I've never seen a good one. Mixi.jp has some groups for japanese people who want to talk to foreigners etc, but that's mostly aimed at the Japanese IE they want to speak English with you, not Japanese.

http://www.sharedtalk.com is good for text messaging. There's also voice chat.

I use http://www.japancupid.com
We exchange an email then go to MSN IM and do video/voice chatting. I want to practice talking Japanese and typing kanji and they want to practice their English. We make agreements to correct each other's mistakes. Of course it is a dating site but not everyone is there for that.

http://www.livemocha.com ... Has training and actively pushes towards making contact with others via chat or voice/video.

http://www.lang-8.com ... Offers correction abilities built right into the site so native speakers can correct you clearly and easily.

what does sticky mean?

tt4you.com is a language exchange community, I think it is hosted in Korea, but there are many different nationalities on there. There are a lot of young people on there 18 -25, but there are also some older people, I don't get the feeling that it is a hook up site.
