Mandarin: RTH Traditional List - Help with Font?!? - kfmfe04 - 2008-11-08 Okay, it looks like I can OCR the RTH Traditional list - a lot of editing is required as it is only right about 80% of the time, but it still beats zombie-typing. I am only up to 180 at this point, but I have already come across 3 very strange cases: 68 直 zhi 69 置 shi 158 灰 hui I think I am having problems with fonts, because 68 and 69 end up with "fishhooks" on the bottom when I work this in Excel, even though they appear to be okay on this forum. In Excel, 158 looks like the Kanji ashes はい with a "cliff" (Kanji) rather than a "by your side" (Hanzi). Does anyone have any idea if this is a font problem?!? If so, what font should I be using for Hanzi? If not, anyone has insight into what's going on? Thanks in advance. Mandarin: RTH Traditional List - Help with Font?!? - kfmfe04 - 2008-11-08 Answered my own question... Looks like Simsun is rendered more accurately than MingLiu, MS Gothic, and MS MingCho. 510/1500 now. Mandarin: RTH Traditional List - Help with Font?!? - diephysiker - 2008-12-13 Thanks for the info. I had the same issue... Done
