Wow, that looks pretty awesome. If you are into DIY projects like that, it seems like a really fun one to try. If you just want a cheap tablet though, you might want to check out the Wacom Bamboo, which can be had for about $50

Uhm, The one in the video is multi touch and pressure sensitive.

It's not multi-touch, but the Wacom Bamboo (and indeed all Wacoms AFAIK) are pressure-sensitive.

Yeah, what do you want to do with it ?

The multi touch features there like in Microsoft Labs demos are still a bit gimmicky, imho. Though the pong game could be fun.

If it's a graphics tablet you really need; I am surprised also at how cheaper they have become. Several years ago I bought a Wacom A4 tablet. Don't do the same mistake that I did and go without reservations for a smaller model. A4 is cumbersome, and also way larger than what you need to paint. The reason for that; and which I didn't knopw without prior experience with Painter and such, is that you always zoom in into areas you want to work on to add details. Even if you zoomed out a large picture; the monitor resolution doesn't allow you to work on the finer details.
