Here's a link to Google documents of iKnow's Japanese Core list. It's set to view only. I'm assuming this is ok as it's Common User license. It also includes the vocabulary words.

The image and audio are the renamed format for Anki which happens when you use the plug-in Resolve put together. Not sure how to bulk upload that info. It's not too difficult to just use the files from pseudosphere (copy the columns from the spreadsheet too), then load into Anki the normal way.

Here is how I'm now using iKnow with Anki:
1. Go into iKnow's list for a specific course and copy and paste the number of vocabulary I want to know for that day into Anki. Let's just say 16 per day. As I'm putting them in Anki I'm using the movie/room/childhood location method + linkwording to give each vocabulary reading a really good mnemonic.
2. Go back into iKnow and run through all of the new vocabulary you just added into Anki WITHOUT reviewing any previously learned material. Like others have said iKnow brings up previously studied words way to soon but there is an easy way to fix this. At the start of every lesson simply de-click any previously studied words and it will only test you on new vocabulary each time. After a few lessons it seems to get the hint and will start throwing you lists entirely of new words. This way you can fly through newly added words and get them all in the iKnow system without wasting time reviewing words you just saw yesterday.
3. Now you just simply keep up with your Anki reviews while reviewing as many "old" iKnow items per day as you feel like.
Doing it this way has been working extremely well because it allows me to fly through iKnow reviews. It takes on average less than a minute for ever new word tested since I'm not worrying about testing "old" material until I've added all of the new words I want. The movie method + link wording also helps tremendously. Before doing it like this iKnow was becoming a chore because I wanted to keep adding new words at a rate I know I could handle but due to it constantly wanting to throw in tons of previously studied words it was taking forever. I'd say on average I use to have test myself on at least 40 items just so iKnow would give me the 15-16 new words per day that I wanted.
What happens doing it this way is that Anki feels more like the real "studying" part, since I'm simply trying to look at the reading and recall the vocabulary word. iKnow is then used more for active "practice" with the word to get it to really sink in.
I can't stress again how important the memory/linkwording is with all of this. Combining it with iKnow is making it ridiculously easy to remember/reinforce vocabulary words.

I don't get what people mean with iKnow showing words too quickly... I think it shows them WAY too rarely. After you run a word, it takes more than 4 days until you see it again, it's almost impossible to rememeber them! Especially since it asks you using hiragana! How dumb is that, Japanese is homonym heaven.
In Anki, I add cards, review them the next day then see them again in 3 days, THAT is more or less perfect.

Tobberoth, I agree with your assessment about the initial spacing being too long.
1. The SRS of iKnow seems to wait upto 5 days prior to first review. As it's a closed system, I can't tell what the spacing is after that. I'm assuming it's 5 days each time till you complete it and the review changes up.
2. I complained before about them showing only kana for words during the learning reviews. Seriously, it's not too hard to show: photo, audio of sentence, kana of sentence with tested word in bold. To compensate for this oversite, I review all the kanji words ahead of time on the preview list.
3. During completed reviews, they do the opposite: They give you the kanji sentence, which is odd to say gives away too much, but it gives away too much. Plus, I'm not too sure that the spacing is good.
It's due to problem 2 that I set my initial anki reviews to 2 weeks when I add them from iKnow. I don't think you go more than 5 days between items, and you're not exposed to difficulty of dictation (kana to kanji), and pronunciation (kanji to typing) is easy as you're exposed to that just 2 minutes prior.
However, I have to wonder. We're complaining based on our prior experiences with a good SRS. iKnow has been designed for average or casual learners. Plus, it has to work based on those that do romaji or kana based set-ups.

First, use Resolve's plug-in for two pages back to create Anki files for courses. You can use these, or use the audio/image files in the for the next part:
Check out the link I posted at the top of this page. Highlight the segments, copy as unformatted text in word, save as a UTF-8 text file, use that to import into Anki.
In Anki, create a new iKnow file with facts that match up to the headings on the spreadsheet. Finally, import the info from the text file.

It's up to look whether I see the right item before the time is up or not. The only thing that has helped is to close my eyes, say the word, visualize it, and then click 'yes' and search for it. Even that isn't 100%, though.
In the end, I just say 'oh well, so I'll see that work 1 more time than I normally would have' and go on. It's not going to kill me to see it again.

also, for those people that have an iphone, does the anki for iphone support sound and images like the anki for windows does? that would be awesome if it did because i am planning on getting an iphone next month...

This list is not really made for iKnow reviewing but rather for sentence sharing since it is so easy now, but still I would like people to maybe check my list every once in a while to find mistakes. I just started it, so there is not a lot. Maybe it will give other people an idea to start doing this with other games.

Some words that are commonly in kanji are not. I am aware of this. I tried to keep it as true to the game captions as possible. In my own flashcards, I have changed them to kanji, and I will leave that as an option for you.

I've changed the interface language to English and tried to download a list from iKnow again.
The result is the same *sigh*
I recently changed on thing on my computer (using Windows XP if that matters), but I can't imagine that that has something to do with Anki.
In order to be able to play Japanese PC games I changed the following:
"For Windows XP, go to My COmputer > Control Panel > Regional and Language Option >
Advanced > at Language for non-Unicode Programs select "Japanese" and in the Code Page
Conversion Tables select Japanese. Finally click OK. You will need to restart your computer."
Wow, I just realized that my Anki deck isn't displaying any Japanese anymore at all. Also with all my other decks.
I don't know if that has to do something with the newest Anki version or not, though.

I tried to use another program that uses Japanese and that one told me that I'm SUDDENLY missing some Japanese fonts (which is not true because I checked the font folder and they are still there, so it seems that for some reason the program can't read it anymore. Maybe the same goes for anki as well?)
I played around with the fonts a little and now it works. I had to change something with my computer's language options, too, though.

Does anyone know how many kanji are in the iKnow C2k sentences? I can't figure out how to get kanji stats off the Anki deck for unseen cards, or how to mass mark them as 'seen'. I always assumed Core 2000 covered all the 常用, but it just occurred to me that this might not be the case. It's hard for me to tell with my deck, since it's got KO and other stuff mixed in.
