Is it worth learning RTK2's pure groups?

I have decided to skip the book in general, but the pure groups looks interesting. Is it actually worth it learning them? (I'm currently going through KO book 1 using the AJATT method). I am at an intermediate level and will take JLPT2 this year.

Meh, they're ok. They're pretty much only useful for reading faster. But if you're going do learn them, it wouldn't do much if you didn't know the non-pure groups as well.

They have been helpful for me when remembering the reading of a kanji compound. I think doing that AJATT sentences and RTK2 are both useful in their own way. The most common pure group readings will help you alot.
