I'd like to share a couple of my resources for Japanese cooking.
By far, my favorite set of Japanese cooking videos on youtube is from "cookingwithdog".
A lot of it is Japanese home cooking that you won't see in too many restaurants.

For the book lovers, I'd recommend "Japanese Cooking: A Simple Art".
It's the only Japanese cooking book you'll ever need.
