Sentence Association - Terhorst - 2008-08-22
This is a modification of the popular Word Association game. The purpose is to amass a large quantity and variety of sentences as a resource for those who are collecting them. To play:
*) Post a sentence related in any way -- by a word, meaning, kanji, etc. -- to the last one.
The best sentences will be short, simple, and contain words that help identify each other (e.g. 刀を研ぐ). It's great if you can make them +1 off things that have already been posted, so there is only one new word or concept to study for someone who has followed the thread from the beginning, but don't worry too much about that. It helps if the sentences are interesting.
Use authentic sources (i.e. don't post sentences you made yourself). If you simplify a sentence, please include the original. You should understand the sentence you post.
Most importantly, have fun. See a sentence. Post a sentence. Go, go, go.
