Are you sure the cards arenť suspended? Are you sure the cards aren't spaced? Haven't you simply opened a different anki file? Try opening the deck in notepad, if the decks cards are simply hidden, than the keywords should be visible in some parts of the file.

Ok, see those english words spread across the text? Those are your keywords, a prove that your deck should be alive. And if the keywords are, the rest should be too. Perhaps it is your own settings that are making the keywords vanish in Anki?

Try looking at them, and if it doesnt help, just upload the deck and let me check it with my own Anki settings Wink

I opened your deck in an SQL browser. It says you deleted all the cards. If you really want to get it back, the cards still exist in a table called "cardsDeleted". You also should have posted it in the anki google group, where the Damien could help you more.

Though, I don't know if you could get your progress back.

Phew Smile

Good thing you found it, because after it didn't work to me either, I was about to take some very drastic "measures" Smile

Appareantly, I couldn't even change the file by direct editing, because the file uses a different coding, so manual typing won't work unless using some converter I do not know about *-*

Garland, it's an SQL database. You have to manipulate the data using SQL commands.

Smile The post made me feel like an idiot, which appearently isn't so far from reality

I used plain txt files for my c++ examination program (written before I found out about Anki and SRS in general) because database seemed like an overkill for the limited amout of words I was storing. It thus didn't come to mind, so thanks for pointing it out.

Anki keeps automatic backups every time you open it. You should be able to find a copy before you deleted the cards in the deck.

(Please post questions like this on the Anki forum in the future)

With recent databases such as sqlite, they arent overkill anymore. I'm just posting to say I started using anki today. It have its quirks but its being a very nice experience.
