I stmbled upon this http://www.speedanki.com site. Its a free online flashcard program that contains a couple thousand vocabulary with example sentences taken from JLPT. Its nowhere near comprehensive, bit it doesnt require sign-up and the interface seems pretty fast. I haven't really checked the sentence quality. This might be worth a look for you folks boning up for the next JLPT.

Although it's not necessary to sign up to use it, you do need to sign up in order to have your information tracked and saved (SRS-style).
