I notice that this websites JLPT vocab lists for levels 4 plus 3 plus 2 only add up to around 4000 words, and I believe you need around 6000 words for JLPT 2.

I just used http://www.jlptstudy.com/ for vocab lists.
The actual level 2 list is around 5000 iirc, even though they say its around 6000.
