I don't know why, that's always been my favorite kanji since I discovered it. I guess it's 'cause Chinese dragons are cool, and this kanji has more... I dunno... dignity to it than the simplified version (竜), but I don't really care about Chinese dragons... Nguyen^~: 阮, Le^: 黎, v.v. post any part of your name (first or last) and I'll give you the character (I've got tons of Han-Viet books). Wikipedia is the best place too look up Viet names, they usually give the Han characters next to names of famous and historic people. |
